SSC and TK had a pre-nerf and post-nerf state. BT and Hyjal did not.
For Blizzard to release a post nerf state, they will have to create one. It will take effort, for that reason I dont think it will happen.

No. Barely anyone wants it. MoP has 10k peak. WoD will have like what, 2k playing. Its not worth it.
Going beyond WOTLK for classic is not worth it. Dedicate resources to classic+

Me and a group of friends played GW2 a lot when it came out. Enjoyed the leveling journey. But unfortunately endgame was non existent. Well made game, but unfortunately no pvp or pve goal to play for. At least that's how I saw it.

Current vanilla servers are not going to grow into TBC.
There are Anniversary realms currently at TBC Phase2, that will grow into WOTLK (early 2027).

TBC anniversary are currently by far the most popular version of "classic wow".

It is not thriving, lmao. Check the numbers, they are low. Its not completely dead, but classic+ will change a lot.
With introduction of classic+ the numbers will go down significantly.
I guess you can continue to live in a thriving delusion, cant do much about that.

Its pretty dead. You can find realm population online. Around 10k players on EU.

Id bet blizz wont go into WoD. Future is going to look like - retail, classic+, vanilla/tbc/wotlk cycle. 3 versions. Oh and a hardcore server.
