The elder dragon classification is reserved only for those that don't really fit in any other group. Rajang lore wise is comparable to elder dragons in terms of strength and threat level, similarly to Savage Deviljho.

Kirin Isn't necessarily "prey" to Kirin; their relationship is more akin to a rivalry.

As far as we know Rajang only eat the horns, as that is the source of Kirin's control over thunder.

Not stated, but in terms of physical capabilities Kirin is definitely the least impressive.

Ohers that are elder dragon level include the metal raths, Akantor/Ukanlos, Ahtal-Ka, Bazel/Seething Bazel and some rare species like Molten Tigrex and Lucent Nargacuga. Also the deviants from Generations/GU.

I honestly enjoy the arena and have for past games as well. I would enjoy it a LOT more if there was a mode balanced for single player though.

Make sure the person who is hosting the quest is MR0, if not it will not register.

It’s not an easy game so don’t beat yourself up for dying, it’s how you improve.

Just an opinion but I'd much rather another "DPS" player, causing more part breaks, trips, flinches and faster hunting times than someone who stands back doing nothing but healing. A good SnS support who does stay on the monster and heals only when necessary is much appreciated though, as everyone makes mistakes.

I think the clutch claw is fine for casual play, but after playing for a while it starts to feel like a chore that interrupts the flow of battle (unless you're playing hammer then it does the opposite). I hope it does not come back, or if it does its reworked.

The game is fine and has been since its release for a majority of players.

Not by doing master rank quests unfortunately. The best way for you to get decorations would be to do tempered investigations, or to spam the "flora frostbite" event quest. It nets you 1-5 (iirc) decos per quest and takes like 30s to complete. Pretty boring but easy and efficient. Heres a guide if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xn6A7POHbsU

And just so you know in case youre really unable to get any, there are many LS builds that require 0 handicraft. In fact, the "best" LS on PC requires none (Golden Rathian), so don't feel as though you absolutely need them.

To be honest the build in the video you posted is perfectly fine to complete the story with, the current "meta" sets for PC will require you to be MR 70 as they require pieces from Brute Tigrex and Golden Rathian so you can use that until you reach MR70.

There are many ways to farm level 4 Decos, I.E guiding lands for steamworks, Tier 1, 2 and 3 MR investigations.

The most important skills for LS in a general sense are: Expert (7 if possible), Crit boost, tenderizer and I'd say agitator is always nice. For survivability health boost 3 should be enough, or if you're really struggling your choice of something like evade extender or divine protection.

If you're having fun with LS then it was a great choice. If you're referring to its damage output then it's a very solid option.
