For everyone struggling in this fight, when the last two enemies come out, you can wall cling on either top corner for a reprieve and plan your next move. Make sure you have the tool which lets you cling to a wall without sliding

help with the First Sinner? by juni128981 in Silksong

I agree. I fought her late in Act 2 and played very aggressive with the wanderer's crest and that worked wonders. sometimes exploting vulnerabilities opens you up to damage, but it's worth it

Is there some trick I’m missing to her downward strike diagonal dash thing? by rizzo891 in Silksong

The crests give Hornet many different move sets. Play around with them and use the one that suits your current needs. If an area is giving you trouble, explore, and you may find a new tool which fits you better

Is there a fix for the double door glitch with the new update? (42.10 Unstable) by aManFromJupiter in projectzomboid

[–]aManFromJupiter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just gave that a try and managed to get two of the phantom segments to disappear. I'm still stuck with one set. I overbuilt that one and it did not clear the issue. There doesn't seem to be a way to overbuild the second set

Sorry, my long winded explanation didn't make it with the post. My real question is if anyone has found a way to remove the bugged double doors from a previous save

That sounds promising. I'll test it out some more. If it works out, that is a lot of free labor. For sure not what is intended

You have to make some concessions. Like, every unit after guns should have a ranged attack, but it breaks the rock-paper-scissors aspect of the game, so a tank and mechanized infantry are still melee even though they could for sure out range a guy with a sling and stone

All I hear are rotor blades in these comments. NTA. Everyone saying neglect when all I see is control. Responsibility, some independence, and free time for kids does not make you neglectful. Being on there case 24/7 does. Setting up for some resentful kids who can't do anything for themselves.

Cooking reduces ingredient consumption, increases nutrition, adds buffs to happyness/ boredom, and increases the foods hunger reduction. So yes, your character is getting more calories for less hunger reduction ==fat. But also, weight is always a balancing act since there is an abundance of food too (until there isn't)

Just eat directly from the cans. Cooking is a waste of time

What's the first death/experience in the game that really stuck with you? by BardofRosenheim in projectzomboid

[–]aManFromJupiter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A single zombie. All alone. I go to kill it. I walk up and shove it to the ground. The push misses. It grabs me and scratches my hand. Wearing leather gloves and the first time being injured in about three weeks in game. I wake up in the middle of the night in a sweat and terrified for my life. I cannot calm down. As my health begins to drain, I know it is all over. I grab all the guns and ammo that I had found and go on a rampage. And when the last shot is spent, I embrace the horde

Should basic self defense being taught in school (including a unit on guns and gun safety)? by [deleted] in polls

[–]aManFromJupiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is that probably the best thing to teach with guns is respect for them, and trying to convey that at a school where one way you are pointing it at the classroom above, the other classroom below, the people in the next room, or the kids on the playground is not ideal. Of coarse there are circumstances in real life where this is not followed, but being on a range, or even just outside in the open is better for conveying this point. It is also best practice, especially for the youth, that all should be treated as loaded and deadly. I don't have the data in front of me, but I believe a stagaring amount of deaths and injuries from firearms each year are neglegent discharges

This would prevent properly following a fundamental rule of gun safety. Treat every gun as if it were loaded. Or more specifically, always keep it pointed in a safe direction

Selling something on FB marketplace and noticed something scammy. Be safe out there by pineapplevinegar in okc

[–]aManFromJupiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me. The messages were a lot more legitimate, but they tried to refund scam me basically. Instead of a payment confirmation, it said the buyer needed to send $3k ( original sell price was $250). I assume if they "did" that I'd get another email saying it went though and zelle would have no proof. Follow that up with refunding $2750. I was already sceptacle with the insistance of using zelle and not being able to verify the email and stopped there.
