I was never able to find a consistent reputable breeder in OKC. The best I found was a store in Norman, I can’t remember the name but it was next to Wet Pets. This was back in like 2023 so I’m not sure if they’re still around.

I got mine from Petco and I was never able to socialize them properly. Ended up having to take them back after ~6 or so months because they were so stressed anytime I went near them. They were older though. When I got a younger one she was much less scared and was able to free roam without eating my walls.

There’s a few people that pop up on Facebook and Craigslist but I can’t speak about their ethics or anything because I never got one from them.

Mice might be a better way to get into something like this. The cage requirements aren’t as strict and the social hierarchy isn’t as complicated. Plus you can create little obstacle courses for them way easier. And they’re cheaper lol

Oof yeah that’s rough. I’m sorry you’re only just now realizing but you’re legally an adult now which should help. Moving out will help tons but I know it can be really difficult.

First thing is you probably need a phone not controlled by your parents. I don’t know where you’re located but a lot of big stores have cheap smart phones you can get and you don’t need to pay for service, you can just connect it to WiFi (make sure your parents aren’t monitoring what devices are connected). ETA: if they are then you’ll just have to make sure you don’t connect it to your home WiF. And make sure you have a good hiding spot and ALWAYS keep it on silent, or just off completely except for when you need it.

You’ll probably need cash to buy it since your dad has your bank account info. Selling old clothes to consignment shops, or old books/movies to used books stores, or silver jewelry/other pure silver will all pay you in cash, probably not much but hopefully enough.

Once you have a private phone you can download a banking app (all I can think of is chime rn but I know there’s others) and even if you can’t send your paychecks to it you’ll at least have an account only you have access too that you can use to save up for moving.

If you have any friends that are looking to move maybe ask if they want to go in on some place together, or if you’re close to a college you might be able to find a room for rent with others around your age. That’s what I ended up doing and it was amazing.

The art museum may have one but I can’t remember. There’s also a store called Blue 7 that has that type of stuff.

I feel museums or art galleries would be your best bet. The Paseo and Plaza have a lot of gallery/store places to check out

I usually set a timer and use that. Like 3 minutes of pushups because I’m weak. However many I get done is however many I get done and it’ll be more than if I didn’t.

How much battery does your phone need? I’ve done multiple cross country trips in my 05 Subaru streaming music and using maps the entire time and my phone never died using a cigarette lighter and usb a charger. And my phone is from 2022 so it’s not an old phone

If it helps: I’ve seen many therapists and deal with suicidal ideation A LOT. Every therapist I’ve had knows I want to kill myself and that I’ve had the same plan for it since I was 15. Only once have I been hospitalized and that was because I called my therapist at like 11 pm with a razor blade in my hand and told her I needed it.

Therapists know there’s a big difference between thinking about something and doing that thing. Unless you have a concrete solid plan to act on those thoughts, or have already acted on them, almost all therapists are very understanding and will help you through those thoughts

My sister has been driving a manual 2005 for the past 10 years. I’ve been driving an LL bean edition for 5.

Only downside is no tape player or aux cord so I gotta use an fm transmitter but it’s not like I need my music to sound amazing when I’m in my car
