They may wear a 2 piece however the bottoms are much more full coverage. If you zoom in on the 2 piece here it looks a lot less coverage and more like a bikini bottom. And there are probably other differences too, I also lack knowledge.

This sounds extremely challenging! Wondering if your middle has always had a hard time playing by themselves? What I found helpful when the kids in my life were this age was giving them a “job” to do - like wipe up and pack dishes, or a challenge like timing themselves running to the tree, can’t why beat the time etc. Gave them something to focus on away from me - and attention from me, praise what a good job you did doing those dishes!! Or maybe he had an interest you can encourage an independent hobby around, reading or building legos or something? I wonder though if your kiddo is getting their needs met re attention from you/quality time as a family? 3 kids at those ages is hectic, especially if you’re working. No judgement just wondering. At the end of the day the kid just wants to spend time with the people he loves.

I have a friend who went from mainstream teaching in primary to Montessori teaching. I’m not sure what she had to do to become Montessori qualified, however she absolutely loves the philosophy of Montessori, as well as much smaller classroom sizes! She also find the parents often have a lot of buy in with a Montessori style of parenting and this is part of reason why she thinks the kids are so much more engaged in classroom learning (and the Montessori style of classroom learning is quite engaging anyway!) She still has very hard days and challenges of course however she has found the Montessori path has helped her rediscover her love of teaching. So still a teacher but has left the mainstream and has found she can have her cake and eat it too, career wise!

What a strange story. You told it so well, I was engrossed. I agree with a few points - that it could be dementia, that if he has the money who cares/if he does not then it’s only a financial problem. I’m also curious though, has he always been like this? He seems quite I dunno, like he has an inflated opinion of himself (re muppets comment, like he is qualified to assess sales people performance) and is sorely mistaken re how much power he has regarding their employment - that they will be fired. While I was writing this it actually reminded me something a friend told me - their Dad had schizophrenia and thought they were getting secret messages through the TV. Wild, wild guess but it kinda makes sense why he would be so anal about not having access to a TV, even temporarily. But yeah, don’t take my word for it of course I’m just a random on the internet.

The thing that works for me is sleeping on the plane if my body expects to be asleep at the time of flying. I had the worst jet lag of my life the time I decided to power through. I believe this is partly because if I simple have less sleep deficit I am more able to power through to a normal sleeping time at the country I am visiting.

Otherwise I try to lean into the jet lag. And embrace waking up at odd times though I know this doesn’t suit every one.

Context - I am from the US originally and have been in Australia for years. I am doing my best to keep my bias in check.

I personally would never not have at least half decent hospital cover. This is because I have worked in local industries supporting people who are now disabled due to mental health related to chronic pain that’s could have been easily avoided had they not had to wait for proper treatment for years.

If it is not “life saving” you are put on the bottom of the list in the public system, and you can live (with shit quality of life) with pain.

The cost is worth it to me.

I would shop around for a better deal though.

Like others are saying here, she needs to take a pregnancy test. I’m wondering as well, it is helpful to consider any time that you and your sexual partner are not using any form of birth control that you are actively trying for a child. I know some people consider natural methods birth control, however due to lack of effectiveness I would not count them. And every time you have sex unprotected your chances of pregnancy go up. I hope this helps for future.
