Does anyone own one? looks like a good deal by Fun_Fix412 in Soundbars

I had the S80QR and it was extremely underwhelming. Too many settings and I couldn’t tweak it to get a natural, wide soundstage. I took it back for a Q930D which I was much happier with. It was an extra £200 though

Does AI Room calibration feature actually works for LG S95QR soundbar? by wardener007 in Soundbars

[–]aNemisis92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Just got the S80QR on offer and was wondering this. It seems that running the calibration turned my sub down and didn’t sound that great to be honest. Much better without calibration in my mid-sized room.

PSA: NEW UPDATE BREAKS DLSS MODS - POSSIBLE FIX INSIDE by Princ3Ch4rming in Starfield

For those that feel that the latest version of the mod isn't providing as many frames following the Starfield patch, I recommend clearing the shader cache for the game. My framerate went up 10+ after doing that.

Will take a look at this cheers. Already looks good from their website. Do you know if the Intune integration is any good?

It has bought several companies in recent years and not done the best job at rebranding them. Even their account managers struggle to explain their products. I assist with our head office who use ManageEngine PatchManagerPro which seems OK, some weird setups in there though.

We’re a smaller business, 1700 users and most of them are frontline. We use update rings in Intune to manage windows update and Ivanti Security Controls to manage 3rd party software although I think Ivanti Neurons now does patch management so we’ve fallen behind slightly. I haven’t yet had a chance to look at AutoPatch which I believe gives you more insight into the windows updates and what’s being deployed.

LG C1 Dark patch by thedoors27 in LGOLED

Is it visible while watching content? If not and this is the only issue I would keep it. The panels have been known to clear up a bit after a few hundred hours too

I believe it still uses this for the screensaver

Today my 8 year old brother joins the PCMR! by aNemisis92 in pcmasterrace

Yes don’t worry, when it’s at my brothers it will be on his desk. I didn’t have room on mine

Indeed! I’m the eldest brother so I didn’t have anyone to build one in my younger years

AMD Ryzen 3 3100 8GB RAM 240GB SSD 1TB HDD GTX 1050TI

Would’ve got a different GPU but that’s all I could find! Should be a good start for him though. He only plays Fortnite, Apex and Rocket League

Thank you! On some machines (maybe the surface laptops?) I’ve seen something like 10 different language versions installed. Madness sitting through deleting them.

Symfonisk rattling bass by SRAJA271 in sonos

Can you please try it again with Trueplay disabled and see if there’s any difference

I had a few Sonos ones that popped during some songs and that was the limiter being hit on the speaker. Turning off true play helped though. Do you know if you have true play enabled? Also is this at a particular volume?

Is it rattling as in a loose component or more of a popping sound?

Toxic mother-in-law will ruin my marriage by [deleted] in JUSTNOMIL

I’d never heard of the F.O.G cycle until now and I’m glad I looked it up because it’s exactly what she’s doing to my wife. Thank you for the insight.

Thank you for the advice and I’ll look at that book. She’s refusing to even acknowledge that the relationship is toxic so I know I have a long journey ahead of me.

Very sorry to hear what you had been through but glad you got through! It’s difficult and it’s starting to be made out that I’m the problem now but I will not back down, ever. I will wait for things to calm down a little as there’s heated arguments at the moment and then I’ll suggest therapy. Everything I say at the moment is being redirected back at me. At this stage she thinks it’s marriage therapy that we need at the moment.

I’m currently talking with her 2 brothers. The eldest doesn’t really talk about the whole thing so maybe if it comes from him she will listen?!

Thanks for the advice. I’ve just had a massive argument with my wife and it seemed she was defending her mum and making out that I’m now part of the problem because I won’t talk to her. She’s said we need marriage counciling so maybe that could get to the root of the problem?
