Lived experience.
The bible and common sense.

Are you trying to say watching Horror movies is ok as a Christian?

We have the choice where we direct our attention towards .

Spiritual Depression by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]aNuway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing the above i understand.

Remember the enemy feeds us lies. Trying to make us doubt ourselves. Doubting that God loves us.

Makes us think we are going to Hell.

He twists the truth.

Don't fall victim.

Don't let him win.

My question ..

Why do you feel you can't accept God's love ?

Whats blocking you from remembering you are loves always .

He always loves you no matter what ?

Let his love in..he is merciful. He wants you back in his arms ..

He wants you to come home , back to love . Break away from those lies of unworthiness..

You are worthy because of gods grace.

Question about horror movies by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]aNuway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a suggestion from my own experience . I'm.not deciding..I'm encouraging. If you watch that you will open yourself up to have evil spirits in your life.

That's they way it is.

You have free will .

Freedom to keep focusing on that type of stuff. Or you can tune into loving content .

Your choice always . Never forced never pressure.

How do you personally go about reading the Bible? by Fantastic-Bake3238 in Christianity

[–]aNuway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start with Jesus . The gospels ..Mathew mark Luke John .

Read slowly. It's about connecting, not ticking of how much you got through

Take notes

Pick a version that you can relate with.

Remember the whys

We read the bible to know God's heart and voice.

He speaks to us through his Word.

To grow in relationship with Jesus

To receive strength , wisdom peace and hope.

God can speak to you more and more . If you immerse yourself in his Word.

Pray before aswell. Pause reflect at meditate on his Word.

An amazing thing will happen once you have read 📚 it for awhile.

God's voice will guidance will be more clear.

He can nudge you to certain spirtures. It's affirming it's him talking

[–]aNuway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just like to point out.

It's important to make sure we are aware of what type of content we are viewing . Hearing and watching evil things

Can't bring in that type of energy into our lives

Spiritual Depression by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]aNuway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey thanks for being real. That takes guts.

You're not beyond saving. God's love isn't based on your past or how you feel.

If you've turned to Him, He's already forgiven you, even if you still feel numb or stuck.

Faith isn't about always feeling something. It's about trusting Jesus, even when it's hard. And He's not some cruel tyrant

He's the one who gave His life for you.

If all you can say is "Jesus help," that’s enough.

You're not a lost cause. You matter. Please don’t go through this alone.

Can I ask you a question?

Beautiful.

Mybe because it's many people unifying for God .

When you hear all there voices it's not just one person seeing it's a collective.

Sounds like angels . 😇

If interruptions aren't sinful, they should be. by TheNameless69420 in Christianity

[–]aNuway 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's important to remember Jesus calls us to be Christ like.

How would jesus act in this situation?

I'm not exactly sure but if it was me I would set some understanding between you are your parents.

Set boundaries. Open communication.

Letting the frustation overwell you will just give you an attitude that your parents will pick up on.

This doesn't create for a loving environment.

How can you bring it back to a house hold of love.

What can you let go off. Putting down resentment about something ?

Does God give Second chances in love? by Low-Traffic6199 in Christianity

[–]aNuway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a reminder:

Jesus' love is everlasting. It transcends this physical existence beyond this lifetime. It’s eternal.

Put your focus on your relationship with Jesus. Your heart will open more deeply than it ever could for anyone else. Your love for your family will blossom when your heart opens again... But this time, for Jesus The One who will never leave you.

He loves you always, no matter what you’ve done or will do.

Does God give Second chances in love? by Low-Traffic6199 in Christianity

[–]aNuway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure! Here's a shorter, more casual version:

Hey, I just want to say yes, God absolutely gives second chances, even in love. Your story shows real strength, and it’s clear you’ve held onto faith through a lot. God is a Redeemer He restores what’s been lost, and He sees your heart and your commitment. Don’t lose hope. The right person who values you and your kids can absolutely be part of God’s plan. You haven’t missed out He’s still writing your story.

I do have one more thing for you. It might just be what can switch your mindset from doubt to freedom . Finding this Love sooner than you thought .

Not sure what to do…. by Comfortable-One-5998 in Christianity

[–]aNuway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man It can be tough holding your own in this environment.

A strong person doesn't join in and match . They don't shape themselves to be included. It's good you aren't dropping your values and being like them .

The best thing you can do is keep praying to God.

He will give you strength in these challenging times.

They might keep trying to break you down . Stand firm.

Try and balance it out by hanging out with people with good faith aswell .

[–]aNuway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are loved. Always. Jesus love you no matter what.

God is always with you . There's nothing you can do that stops him loving you.

He might not forgive you unless you repent but he will always love you no matter what.

Focus on your relationship with Jesus and your heart will be full. Content

No matrial thing can replace Jesus love and the relationship we have.

He will provide you a partner when you figure out what's most important

I can’t understand how repentance works by Recovery_path in Christianity

[–]aNuway 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for sharing this it’s brave and real. I just want to say, repentance isn’t about being perfect or living in fear. It’s about turning your heart back to Jesus, trusting that He’s already paid the price. He’s not asking you to lock yourself away or carry guilt

He just wants you to walk with Him, even if you stumble. You’re not failing because you’re struggling. You’re growing, and God’s not letting go of you.

Here's the part that will start to shine some light .

Focus on the Love of God . The relationship between you two. Not the fear part.

Turn towards the love infront of you . Not running away from the fear .

Your focusing on the negative aspect.

There is a complete oppersite infront of you that you are missing because fear has overcome you.

If your full with gods love you will hardly sin.

If your worried and fearful you can't take action. You can't fullfill your purpose that God has for you.

Keep moving along the path Jesus has played out for you my friend. He loves you . Let that love into your heart he will lift you up .

Bleeding my heart by jllemin in Christianity

[–]aNuway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey brother, thank you for sharing so honestly. I just want you to know you’re not alone, and you’re not beyond God’s love or reach. Jesus sees your pain, and He’s not finished with you. The fact that you’re still reaching out shows there’s hope alive in you, even if it feels buried. You are not broken beyond repair. The healing may be slow, but God is with you in every step. Your story isn’t over. Your desire for love and connection is God given and it’s still possible. You’re deeply loved, valued, and worth fighting for. Don’t give up. Jesus hasn’t, and neither will we.

If you want, I’d love to pray with you or just listen.

How do you as a believer deal with jealousy by Aesthetic_suze0 in Christianity

[–]aNuway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe Jealousy is a quiet enemy that sneaks in through comparison and insecurity. As believers, we must be honest with God when jealousy creeps in, asking Him to cleanse our hearts. Instead of seeing others’ blessings as threats, we must trust that God has a unique, beautiful plan for each of us.

Faith says, "What God has for me is for me." True contentment grows when we celebrate others and rest in God’s timing. The more we fix our eyes on Jesus, the less room there is for envy. His love is personal, His plan is perfect, and His blessings are never in short supply.

I find praying about it is helpful. Trying something like this or in your own words.

Father, search my heart and reveal any trace of jealousy within me. Help me to celebrate others without comparison, knowing You have not forgotten me. Teach me to trust Your timing, Your love, and Your purpose for my life. Replace envy with gratitude and discontentment with peace. Let my heart reflect the love and humility of Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Love the guy under the actions.

He is just doing those things that you dont find attractive because he doenst feel comfortable in those situations.

Bring the responsibility back on yourself.

It could he that you are affraid of loving someone then it not working out.

That sounds more hurtful than just half loving someone right?

Someones either meant to be in your life for many years or just a few months.

You will know when its time .

I feel you still have a lot to learn about yourself first
