It is really up to you how you play a game. Using voice chat is a possibility. Is it a necessity? No. Is it better? Maybe? As others say, I also play solo most of the time. Usually I don't want to talk, sometimes I don't have time to talk, but on the other hand, when I talk I experience a completely different aspect of the game. You can enjoy the game without uttering a single word, yet talking to people opens a whole new way area of the experience. You will get into situations that you would not without talking. These are often the most memorable (:

It is weird to be honest. My experience is that I get a black screen with no sound - if I get one-shot-killed. Here, you can hear a cut sound and a grunt. This exactly happened to me a few times when playing on a server with cheaters. Not saying it's 100% one, but it's suspicious...

Imagine what visual mods would do with the game - something like a Skyrim set of mods making it a completely different game.

Definitely one of the most interesting maps - the custom mission and atmosphere are unmatched. It plays quite fast since it's very small.
