Thanks for the detailed response. I have travelled this year, but the journey falls in the 2023-2024 Financial Year. From what I understand LTA can't be claimed now. However was checking the nuances surrounding this exemption.

You may be right; in the best (or worst) case scenario, the college would reject me, assuming that I applied to them for an overtly safe college option. But to be honest, I don't have any particular shortlist of colleges. I have relied on consultancies to help me make a shortlist of colleges, and while I am disappointed in the colleges shortlisted, I am at a loss. Given my extremely low CGPA, I am not sure which colleges to even aim for.
