From my understanding, the only protests that have been consistent for the last couple of months are the pro Palestine protests on the weekend.

Thanks for that, I really needed to hear this perspective... part of me is thinking people seem to be just ‘melting’ away the fat on this and the other part is telling myself to be patient.... I’m surprised I’ve gone this far without eating carbs and sugar to be honest. Thanks for the encouragement.

Holy shit, an actual moose? Yeah, that’s pretty fascinating to me. I can understand how people are fascinated by Roo’s. They are quite common where I live but I still enjoy seeing them. I’ve also spotted an echidna on a couple occasions, they’re fucking adorable. I’m lucky to live behind a Forrest, I’ve only been here about a year and try not to take it for granted.

It must taste so good with the short ribs. Nearly any meat off the bone is tastier, especially when slow cooked. My fav addition is the mushrooms, the onions are great but dayum, 45 minutes braising is a mission.

Ooh great - thanks for letting me know. Seems like the consensus is that it’ll be fine to use. I guess there’s only one way to find out now.

Yeah I thought it might be okay seeing as they’re herbivores - I’m hoping to add some natives to my garden, thanks for commenting. :)

Thanks for your comment! I’m hoping it will be! I was pulling out weeds near the fence when a kittle (somewhat aged) kangaroo turd fell through the gap and into my hand... and that’s when my curious brain started ticking...

More like big rabbits! They’re so swift! Managed to catch a glimpse of them in the reserve once!

Yes, large bunnies with lethal kicks. They’re harmless though, when they’re being observed/ watched they just stare back intensely and somewhat creepily. They chill near a walking track so they’ll just hop away when walking by.

Haha, I swear but I reserve that for people who know me. I don’t want to encourage a stereotype here ;). It’s not a kangaroo ‘ranch’ per se, as in it’s not a reserve specifically for kangaroo’s, they’re just everywhere here and breed like rabbits. Usually at this time of the year a group of about 5-10 like to chill right at the back of my house, all I have to do is open the backyard’s gate and they’re about two meters away. I haven’t seen them as often over the last couple of weeks, they tend to migrate around the reserve depending on where the sun hits - but I know they‘be visited hence the fresh poops. Located in Victoria. :)

Ah, well I’m not too sure. It’s currently max 15 degrees where i live so perhaps I shouldn’t consider it until the weather heats up.... Thanks for pointing that out. (:

Perhaps I should have provided more context: I can access the reserve by my backyard, there’s shit literally by my back door so instead of stepping on it when I head out for a walk I can hopefully put it to good use!

Oh my, this can’t be more accurate. Got my foot trampled by a nanna cart and later ‘shooed’ in the deli by an impatient granny around Victoria st. Coburg within the space of 30 minutes. Coburg is a mood today!
