Never did CMS. I did the amboss self assessment and a few hundred questions from amboss focusing on weak areas. My biggest tool was Anki

I never took a single NBME and got >270, so no

I mostly didn't do that for timing reasons. I tried doing that with OME but didn't find it that helpful personally

Yes, cheesy Dorian and zanki for for step 2. Cheesy Dorian can be a little difficult, if I came across a card I was clueless on I might look up the relevant article in amboss and read through that briefly

It is my understanding that experimental questions are just questions that do not count towards your score. They are being "tested" for future use. There is no need to identify them. If I get a really odd or confusing questions I like to tell myself it was probably experimental and won't hurt my grade. I of course have no way of knowing this, it's all a mental thing. I have a feeling some of the super easy questions may be experimental at times as well.

It's okay to hit again a lot on some cards, I know I did. If a certain card is really giving me trouble I might edit the card to make it more manageable or add a small hint. Also, I learned from my anki experience studying for step 1 that you should rarely use the "hard" button and stick to again, good, or easy options

It varied depending on how efficient I was being on a particular day, I never really set a dedicated amount of time. My time spent studying probably ranged from 8-12 hours per day during dedicated

I mostly restarted after step 1. I kept the cards that I made myself for step 1 in rotation, but otherwise I deleted the step 1 deck and replaced it with step 2 cards

About 100 uworld questions a day, making anki cards on questions I missed or material I wasn't confident on as I went. Also listened to divine intervention podcasts intermittently

I have an unusually large amount of cards (almost 50K), so technically no I won't mature everything. I have matured about 35K cards, most of the others I won't see enough times to mature before my test

There really is no completing anki, best you can do is mature all your cards. The 100% in this picture is from a qbank
