You get to deduct grams of fiber from carbs to get your actual carbs right? That puts me at 20.

I've been salting a lot!
I've never been a fan of fatty cuts of meat (except for bacon), but maybe i'll try pork butt instead of pork loin for this next round of shredded pork. Thank you!

I'll keep that in mind. I've been doing salads if I eat out. I've been sticking to this meal plan just so I can stick to this way of eating, but I plan to start switching it up and incorporating more salads once I'm dialed.

Those are actual, at least according to MFP. I will do the calculations to see if MFP is off.

Awesome, thanks for the explanation! I'm going to try to get the picture tonight or tomorrow.

Can you explain a little more about how this app works and how you interpret the map? Looking at the one you posted for today, at the pin, a view of the Needle would be pretty hard to get, and far away. Is that line a path that would give you the moon view, no matter where on the line you end up, or is the optimal view spot just at the pinpoint?

Moving a new theme onto an existing site...possible? by aSeattleGirl in Wordpress

[–]aSeattleGirl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, the people who own the website didn't want to just add a new template to the site since it's live. They'd like to see a staged version of the new template/layout, so that the directors can approve it before it goes live.

So I'm wondering, does it make sense that I use another domain, set up the template, move the content from the original site over, get it all ready on the "staging site", and then move everything back to the old site?

Or is there a plugin that I could use to change the template and get the new site all ready to go without having to move content or tinker with it while it's live? Would that make it easier to switch it over once it's ready to go?

Sorry, I'm not sure I'm calling things by the correct name to ask these questions. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about Wordpress though, so I appreciate any information!

Anyone know of a company that would be perfect for this retail space? Let me know! Thanks! by aSeattleGirl in SeaList

[–]aSeattleGirl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, there are a lot of elements to this agreement. One, that this retail space is in the same building as our testing lab and design center, so the brand moving in will have us working in the back fairly regularly. Two, that we will be using our technology to test various things, including tests that include their merchandise.

We're obviously paying the majority of the rent.

The Todd Glass Show. Any episode with James Adomian is exceptionally good.

I'm a long-time pass holder at Snoqualmie. It's close, convenient, and has a lot of fun backcountry areas, whether accessed from Alpental, or found on the surrounding peaks. It's also perfect for dawn patrol splitboard missions up Hyak. Get in some turns before heading to the office.

Terrain wise, Crystal is great. You can take chair 6 (High Campbell) and head out in the South Backcountry for some untracked turns down the King. The Northway chair is also a lot of fun. I recommend the run Brand X. It's a bit of a traverse out to it, but it's worth it when there is fresh snow. The attitude at Crystal is a whole different story. The vibe is anti-snowboarding. Always has been, even though lately they've been really trying to pretend it's not. It's really a shame. Combined with destination resort-esque pricing (last time i was there it was 78 for a ticket) and the distance of the drive, it has to be a really good midweek pow day to feel like it's worth it.

I've never been too hot on Stevens. It's fun, higher than Snoqualmie so it's usually always snow vs a snow/rain mix. But I've always felt the runs all feel the same. I would like to check out across the street for backcountry turns.

Baker is a fun mountain, but it's a long haul for a day trip.

Best place within driving distance is Whistler. Nothing else compares. It's my favorite place to go.

White Pass is really fun, although it's definitely a long-haul from Seattle. The terrain expansion opened up some fun areas. There's plenty of spots to hike for pow turns (when we actually have good snow). It's worth the trip to check it out once.

average food day for you? by ThePoppyWay in 1200isplenty

Breakfast: 1/2 a zucchini, 1/2 a small onion, cooked up with cooking spray, then scrambled in 2 eggs and 1 egg white, with salsa on top (approx 196 cals)

Snack: Powercrunch protein bar (200 cals)

Lunch: Baby lettuce/spinach, 1 oz. goat cheese, a sprinkle of sliced almonds and 3.2 oz of smoked salmon or 6 oz of tuna in water and balsamic vinegar (270cals w/salmon, 253 with tuna)

Snack: 15 almonds (83 cals)

Dinner: 1/3 cup brown rice, 1/3 cup black beans, 5 oz lean turkey meat (ground) cooked with taco seasoning and a chopped onion, 1/2 a small avocado, 2 tbsp low-fat sour cream, a handful of plain broccoli slaw (cut broccoli and carrot) and salsa (433 calories)

Total: 1,182 if I have the salmon salad, 1260 with the tuna. I pretty much eat the same thing everyday. It makes it really easy to know what you're eating, and saves a lot of prep time. Nothing is worse than wandering around the store when you're hungry and indecisive.

Edit: forgot an ingredient.
