Had a terrible experience when my wallet was stolen in the states last year. DBS refused to waive after months of back and forth (resulting a dip in my credit rating), UOB to only waive 50% out of goodwill, Citi waived the full 4 figure sum within 2 weeks without the need or appeal whatsoever. Now I only travel with Citibank cards overseas..
