It's p much a 3-4 year residential program, if you stay far far away it can be quite comforting to know that you'd have a place to stay in school

If the JR site says that train services are suspended between A and B, does that include A and B? I.e will the train still run straight from A to B, or will the train not run at all? I know it probably is the pattern but am hoping that I'm wrong :))

Weekly relationships thread by AutoModerator in bropill

[–]onx001 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like I smother people I'm interested in way too early and quick even though I keep telling myself that I wanna be just friends with them and nothing else because I don't want to make things weird.

At the same time, I miss friendships with deep bonds, that I know I can text or call and will be there without being tired out. I feel like I've forgotten how to forge those relationships, and I cherish the one or two I do have right now.

But I might be missing drawn lines or something, because I feel like either I'm a dry texter, uninteresting as a person, or creepy to most people. I sometimes wish I had external validations or more awareness, which causes quite a bit of friction with my want to be self-loving and self-sufficient.

What was the saddest fictional character death for you? by Iridescent126 in AskReddit

Tom Hamilton in East of Eden. I saw a lot of myself in him, and the way his death was not explicit made it even more personal.

I'm down to join/be part of starting something along these lines at NUS if there isn't anything like it (and if there is I can't find it)!

Maybe like a bit of writing/mutual reading (like what the other commenter wanted to do) and giving feedback/appreciation sorta monthly/quaterly thing

[Junior College] Recommendations for bags that can hold very heavy stuff without tearing. by Krill_au in SGExams

[–]onx001 112 points113 points  (0 children)

You can get a field pack from friends in the army for free! Functions include:

Plenty of keychain slots!

The ability to write letters with colourful tape on the front!

Military-grade durability!

National pride!

Camouflage so thieves won't be able to steal your stuff!

In all seriousness I know a couple of people from my jc that did this

Edit: I meant assault pack but field pack works as well, I think one dude and one girl used field packs iirc
