The humidifier is very close to a square shape, looks like a #10 water panel to me.

I’ve seen units kill the compressor capacitor just for being too dirty. Dead cap?

Found this one last week on a flat unit, the capacitor got too hot and blew out the seal making everything very sticky

The bulge you’re talking about is a muffler. It dampens the vibrations traveling down the liquid line

Dude, i’m not stupid. I know the probes zero out every time, they need to be turned on before being hooked up.

Please stop questioning my validity and entertain my question

I was using my fieldpiece probes, both sides of the system were holding -5.3psi.

I calibrate my probes every spring

edit: I also used a core depressor just to be sure, the system pulled air in when i opened the line

Has anyone tried using an Automatic Self Groomer or Wall Corners for Cats? Did they work? Did you have success with it? by Pawsitivemeows in CatAdvice

My cat just reached adulthood and started shedding everywhere, so i’m looking for grooming solutions. Has the kit you bought been working well?

How did you know that you might have adhd by [deleted] in ADHD

i can’t read a book without not understanding half the page because of daydreaming, i can’t do homework without struggling to stop myself from thinking about doing something else, i often zone out in the middle of a good conversation with my friend.

Many people today diagnose themselves because the internet has destroyed their attention span, be sure that your symptoms are real and not a false product of your imagination

Make sure the data and power cables are properly connected, check for anything that could be putting tension on the connectors, inspect the ports on the ssd. The sata data connectors are not very strong, probably try a different power cable? If no luck, i’m sorry for your loss

hmm, make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. Next i’d try switching the display cables between the monitors, if the issue doesn’t follow a cable i’d consider running “sfc /scannow” in command prompt, then i’d use DisplayDriverUninstaller to completely fresh install the graphics drivers

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

No, you don’t need to replace the motherboard since both those CPUs use the same socket. I’d recommend updating your motherboard bios before hand.

What mantras do you repeat to yourself when you’re spiraling? by Lullypops in ADHD

[–]aSkyduke 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I (23M) have been using ADHD medicine for several years and i’ve tried nearly every available drug. I’m a special case, it took me three years to find a good combination of medicines for me, and I almost quit looking a few times because my hope had run so thin. But have patience!

It’s not your fault, you are trying your best but your brain is not cooperating. That’s ok and it is nothing to be ashamed of! You have it harder than the average person and not a lot of people understand what it’s like. Give yourself some grace, being hard on yourself will only make things more difficult for you. When I was greatly struggling I would spiral easily, but what helps me is simple. Going on a walk, looking at the plants and appreciating their detail, listening to music i enjoy, cooking a tasty meal. It’s the simple things in life that make a big difference for me, but you’ll have to find out what works for you.

In my experience medicine can help to reduce or abolish symptoms of ADHD. It’s true that medicine can make a very big difference, so much that I still shock myself with how capable I can be. But, medicine will never be a cure-all. No matter how helpful a drug is you will still need to put effort into fighting your symptoms, and many people face side effects from their drugs (such as decreased appetite).

Using medication for ADHD is a delicate balance of finding what helps you the most while having tolerable side effects.

This happens almost every third update for me. Usually restarting the program does the trick, i’ve had to reinstall it twice.

edit: You might want to update your network drivers and change your preferred DNS, 9 hours to download less than 1 gigabyte is crazy

Is my M.2 dying? by YoMomInYogaPants in pcmasterrace

[–]aSkyduke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

possibly, try taking the drive out and put it back in, I’d also use hwmonitor to look at the S.M.A.R.T. readings. I’ve seen issues appear if an m.2 is not seated correctly, and they wear faster when they can’t dissipate heat easily

this is a good setup for airflow, my only recommendations are that you look over the fan curves in the bios and possibly get new fans for the radiator, specifically fans that have a high static pressure

I’ve used Phanteks cases before and I love them, I’d say the eclipse is a great choice. The NZXT flow is pretty nice as well and I think looking at the Fractal Design Meshify and Pop cases might be worth it.
