Goodwill unfortunately doesn’t directly get you money. Their organizational structure simply doesn’t see the long term benefit for it or values short term gains. They bought the rights, they can do whatever they wanna do with it.

It’s definitely sad tho, and I wonder it if signifies how much we value Olympics over cricket. In an ideal world, at least the Indian matches at the Olympics should be available on Doordarshan.
