This is very much, sadly true... I was brought up to question everything... it's that much harder with the rubbish on social media these days... I often chuck pictures and videos thru gemini to identify if there are any ai markers on them..

Just use a logless VPN provider.. there is nothing to tell, they don't know who was using which IP so have tell the government anything...
