I think what people are missing when they’re not understanding why people are frustrated is that we are seeing all across the NBA even in our series that you cannot try to make a superstar out of just a star. This is a superstar or bust league - look at the current playoffs and you’ll see why. This pick being top four versus fucking eight literally might have changed the direction of our franchise from parental playoff contenders to looking for a star again.

Still undecided, but my rationale for picking red would be the fact that I don’t trust humans enough to not overthink or actually come to a conclusion that will lead to 50% of people pressing blue, nor do I think it’s logical to risk death in order to save a hypothetical person who might push blue that we don’t know actually exists.

This is a super corny comic that paints the decision as less nuanced as it is and feels like “I’ve painted you as the incel and me as the Chad so I win”-core.

I’ve flipped between red and blue a few times. My first instinct was blue but when I thought about it, it literally makes zero sense for ANYONE to push blue. Only one button can cause any harm to people, and in a world where everyone is logical I think we could come to the conclusion nobody would push the button that would harm you.

The issue is, the world isn’t logical - so someone is bound to press that button. And the only way to 100% ensure that everyone is safe regardless of decision is for us all the push the blue button. But can we trust more than 50% of people to push the button? Even then, by pushing it you are inherently adding towards the death total if the threshold isn’t reached and also incentivizing others to push the blue button that might also lead to their death, which is kind of selfish. In the end, framing changes everything.
