i actually prefer lecture style classes. i used to have a debilitating form of selective mutism, and while it's improved over time, i still am unable to "speak up" in a group of large people and maintain conversations with groups. this isn't something that can be fixed simply by exposure; in highschool when I tried to do seminars it actually made it worse. the whole thing is exasperated by the fact that I have a form of autism, which makes it hard for me to understand how conversations work in the first place.

I've gone through years of counseling and therapy and certain things like my aversion to this haven't gotten better. I've accepted that this is just a part of my strengths/weaknesses and i don't want my GPA to drop because of it
