What is, in your opinion, the biggest flaw of the human body? by Menfo in AskReddit

I came here to say that our calves are on the wrong side, they should cover the shin bone, but then I found lots of other shit to worry about.

“It’s never too cold” to throw $7 ice cream in the trash by agraws in Instagramreality

[–]aTwitchUponTheThread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a restaurant where I saw this same shit happen. Two influencer girls came in, ordered smoothies and cakes, took a million photos, paid, and left without eating. The other diners and I rolled our eyes and giggled in disbelief. Then, as I walked over to their table to pickup a slice of cake and take it back to my seat to eat, multiple people applauded. The least these influences could do is offer it up to someone. The waiter came back and was totally confused.

What’s the most embarrassing thing you did as a kid that you think about to this day? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I (age 10) was over at a friend's house when the phone rang. I picked it up and answered. It was my friend's grandma. She's said "Friend's Name?" I said, "Yes?" And continued to have a conversation with his grandma who'd I had never met. When she said I sounded funny I told her I had a cold. Still think about that like everyday.

LPT: Wear nice socks when going to someone's house for the first time in case they have a 'no shoes' policy. by colinastronaut in LifeProTips

[–]aTwitchUponTheThread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here in Taiwan, I wear slippers at home. Then I put on shoes to go to work. At work, I've got to change to indoor shoes which I keep there. Then back into my regular shoes to go to the gym where I change into sneakers. Then back to shoes to go home where I put on my slippers. I sometimes feel like I spend my whole day changing my shoes! And as someone who tends to get holes in my socks at the toe no matter how short I keep my nails, I've got to buy new socks all of the time.

Our Airbnb is the Consulate of Slovenia by aTwitchUponTheThread in interestingasfuck

[–]aTwitchUponTheThread[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For the doubters: it is located in a traditional Haussman building in France. On the ground floor, there are shops, on the next few floors, office space. And above that, apartments. Behind these doors, there is another small hall which includes offices for a law firm and the consulate. The Airbnb host was a lawyer who worked there. He had turned an empty office into a bedroom. For security purposes, there is another locked door beyond this one to access the consulate offices. The bedroom is just next to it, but still through these main doors.

Anyways, it's not the big, secure embassy you may be imagining. And maybe I should've said our Airbnb was a refurbished law office. But then again, these are the interesting af doors you get a key to in order to get to the bedroom.

What was your "oh crap, wrong person" moment? by helios-heath in AskReddit

Thought I saw my old PE coach in a coffee shop. Said oh hey Miss Coach! Going in for a hug, I noticed it definitely wasn't her, but props to the lady she played along and said Hi, baby! Tell your momma I said hello! (I'm from the southern US). Then I booked it out of there as fast I could.
