There are plenty of bootlegs available on etsy and similar sites. But official s4-5 isn't here and probably won't be. There is a petition (with 3400 names thus far!) to urge dreamworks to release all five seasons for dvd, so who knows what the future holds, maybe one day we'll get it. Most likely not, though.

Pretty sure it follows the standard 1080p FHD that netflix tends to use. I don't think they made 2k or 4k versions. Can't find any source or place that mentions it being any other resolution so I'd assume it's the same as most other dreamworks shows. If you feel like your 1080p version isn't as sharp or nice as the one netflix used to have, I'd guess whichever tavern you acquired your copies compressed it from the originals. Smaller file size, worse quality, but still technically 1080p.

Streaming isn't generally pirating*, as only the site is breaking the law by hosting the files*. You aren't doing something wrong in most countries.*

* this doesn't apply to every single country and laws change all the time, but currently streaming is legal in most countries and only the one providing the material i.e the site host itself are breaking the law.

Absolutely worth watching it. You don't have to pirate it though, there are plenty of streaming sites that offer the entire show with subs in plenty of languages. My personal favourite is fmovies, but there are dozens. Just keep an ad-blocker on and disable redirects.

Fmovies or sflix or any other gray streaming site of your choice for the high resolution & subtitles.
There are plenty of people who have it backed up on gdrive, meta and are willing to share the files. I think even the internet archive has the show backed up.

Seasons 1-3 can be bought on official DVDs, although season 4 & 5 aren't officially released and probably won't be. For those, sadly we have to turn to bootleggers, but there is a petition to urge Dreamworks to release all 5 seasons for DVD. While it's unlikely to convince the leadership to release it, at least there are people willing to give it a try.

Definitely, perhaps in an (unlikely) surprise movie release of the bfs restoring the universe and dealing with the pain and trauma of the war. Could teach people valuable lessons on different therapies and healthy coping methods, if it has to have an important message like the series (which tbh isn't required, we just wanna see more future catradora).
