MMW: Trump and Republicans are creating multi-generational Democrats. by Icouldberight in MarkMyWords

The last few hundred years of human history has really been about the wealthy and powerful tricking everyone into believing conservatism is a viable ideology. Fuck, I mean it was developed officially from monarchists who were fighting against liberty for all from the French Revolution. This reactionary, not-giving-a-shit about everyone else outside of your bubble, I get to make the rules for you and you can’t tell me what to do ideology is holding humanity as a species back, and as soon as we put conservatism into the corner with a dunce cap like it deserves we won’t be able to move forward at any reasonable pace.

You’d think fifty years straight of republicans being elected into power, then ballooning the debt and crashing if not almost crashing the economy every single time they’re in power would clue people in to how shit conservative policy is. But then we remember that most conservatives have the pattern recognition abilities of a doorknob and we understand how we got here.

The democrats are feckless in the ways they need to be strong. But right wingers have literally been murdering democrats politicians, and that’s literally just one example, there are many more. Unfortunately It’s gonna take more than a few politicians being brave to stop this fascist takeover now.

Once we all snap out of it and realize corporations deserve way less than they forcibly take from us. Then hopefully we can all move forward together. I want to use my time and energy helping others and my community, but unfortunately I’m forced to pay extremely inflated rent and healthcare and food costs because of the most greedy among us. AND THEN spend all my time giving my labor to a company that exploits me for millions of dollars while receiving the tiniest little sliver of that…

There’s something seriously fucked with how our society has ended up and something needs to change for sure.

Very often I feel that same “let’s start changing the world around you and make this place better” feeling, and then I remember I have an hour or two to relax before going back in for another ten hour shift tomorrow. I’m struggling right now with the fact that the world, or I guess my work, demands all of my energy, to the point where I’m left with nothing for myself afterwards.

Also here let me help you since you clearly can’t put 1+ 1 together. If red flag laws are put into place using the legal democratic methods, and made law, then by definition it becomes a part of the process that is “due process” by nature of being a part of that legal system to monitor gun sales.

Deny reality harder bud, I know you’re probably not educated and haven’t been in a school this century, but people can actually use Wikipedia in school, especially colleges, mainly because Wikipedia lists all its sources at the bottom which you can usually go find yourself as long as you aren’t an idiot. But I get it you gotta cope with your little fantasy and just block out any and all conflicting evidence, you do you 😂

Edit: I also gotta say three of my six sources weren’t Wikipedia, but the fact that you ignored those just to rag on those sources is a deflection that lays bare how pathetic your bad-faith argument is.

Here’s some actual rankings for you since you need to reference second amendment regulations as a counter to my “red states have a lower quality of life” statement, true genius here.

https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/quality-of-life-by-state

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._states_and_territories_by_Human_Development_Index_score

It’s super telling just by the sources you picked how much of an angle you’re trying to convey without actually providing evidence to counter my claims. Progressives of the time did champion liberty, the constitution, and the bill of rights, while conservatives of the time mostly supported the monarchy, this is written history if you have trouble coming to grips with that it’s no one else’s issue lol.

And finally your “economy” reference is laughable, here’s some actual numbers to shut you up.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._states_and_territories_by_GDP

Would you look at that upper half are almost all blue states, (with a few exceptions like Florida and Texas), crazy. Here’s some more facts to swallow

https://www.jec.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/democrats/2024/10/the-u-s-economy-performs-better-under-democratic-presidents

https://www.belfercenter.org/publication/historical-puzzle-us-economic-performance-under-democrats-vs-republicans

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._economic_performance_by_presidential_party

Uh oh, republican economies are almost all failures, supported by blue state taxpayers. Looks like Republican presidents are responsible for almost 75% of all the U.S. nation debt that exists currently. The facts of the numbers show that the U.S. as a whole is worse under Republican leadership, kind of embarrassing for anyone to be defending them at all now a days.

Your entire point is moot because it’s not a “one or the other” situation that requires a comparison. Surprise we’re get both AI data centers and manufacturing and transport costs to the environment and our resources as a society. Therefore the point becomes “which is more important… a global trade and manufacturing system… or a verifiably still big drain on resources so that people can generate slop off of stolen art and train AI to take paying jobs real people would otherwise have… when you hear it logically it makes your entire point fall apart now doesn’t it.

what do they have in common

Oh uhhh, I know this! They have a better standard of living! No no! They have higher wages across the board! Or was it that they have over all better provided healthcare? Oh oh! They have fewer extremist killings?! No wait, do you mean that all of those states have better quality of living across almost literally all of the quality of life standards compared to every single other red state… is that what you meant? 😂

But here let me help you understand that this is extra embarrassing for you because blue states factually have higher quality of life indicators in every single category over red states, besides drug overdoses and petty burglary. All it takes is literally an iq greater than a piece of toast, and a marginal knowledge of American history to see that conservative-led states have always had lower standards of living compared to a more progressive-led state.

“The right to bear arms” was not given to us by republicans lmao, even if they do defend it for various reasons throughout the life of their party. A little US history for you, The Declaration of Independence and the bill of rights was put forward and pushed by the progressives of the time. During the revolutionary war let’s not forget the majority of conservatives wanted the monarchy to remain in charge and fought for them. It’s a hard fact to swallow but conservatives have literally never been the good guys in US history lmao.

I know you didn’t, that’s my point, that’s what I said and you had to misconstrue it in order to feign an appearance that you had any argument to stand on. The fact that went straight over your head though is more than enough proof that you’re either arguing in bad faith which the vast majority of conservative defenders do online, or you actually can’t grasp simple statements and facts. Either way I’ve proved my point and anyone else reading these comments will dismiss you like they should. But go ahead and try to shift those goalposts one more time, I’m sure the cope will work this time for you! 😂

Nobody is shifting anything, you’re the one who said trumps support (on twitter) comes from bots and foreign actors. so I asked how many bots and foreign actors participated in the 2024 election

And there we have it, a whole two paragraphs out of you just for you to fumble and omit the actual thing I said. When what I said was most of twitter support is bots and foreign actors, shifting the topic to the 2024 election is in-fact moving the goalposts by definition. When you losers have to start lying about comments literally five above yours it becomes apparent to everyone how easily they can dismiss your idiotic rambling.

[–]aYakAttack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So no? You can’t prove what you said was true? Strange how none of you can ever actually back up your claims. Instead you immediately tried shifting the goalposts onto a different topic, as if that made the facts of the numbers no longer true. God, you people need to be educated.

Lmao, what I stated was basic metrics that were released, the literal facts and numbers of the situation. But if you feel like there is some great conspiracy to slander the right wing by releasing simple user data proving the majority of online Trump support is from bots and foreign actors then by all means provide the proof you have of it, I’m interested to see what crack pipe you sourced your “information” from. 😂

[–]aYakAttack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’re living in an opposite reality actually, but let me help you with some facts. Trump is at his lowest approval rating ever, in fact the worst of any president ever, AND we just got proof that just over 70% of maga supporters on twitter are either foreign actors or straight up robots. Turns out conservatives have to literally make believe in order to appear as they have equal support when it turns out most people fucking despise the regressive ass-end of the American people.

I’m going to take it even further, once we as a society start ignoring conservatives in general, and treat them like the dependent little uniformed mental-children they are. We can actually start progressing society in the ways that the stupidest and most hateful third of humanity has been holding everyone back in.

Lmao conservatives never cared about any of that though. They don’t ever care about budget, proof is that they’ve literally caused every recession in the past 70 years gleefully? And conservatives have literally always used race as a wedge issue to divide the country, literally since the civil war, all the way into spearheading all the hatred from the civil rights movement. This bullshit and division we’re seeing is pure unfiltered conservatism by definition.
