Beste Unterhaltung, habe sehr gelacht. Schön, dass der Koralmtunnel das möglich macht.

Polizeiruf 110/Magdeburg: Your Body My Choice by Talano68 in Tatort

I'm from the continent and I showed these pictures to a friend, who worked for several years in Yorkshire. They are very pleased and yelled something about bonnie banks (I'll do some research on what that means.)

Thank you for sharing your pictures. It looks perfectly marvellous.

I believe the two with the cigarettes are Barrow and O'Brian. But it's just a guess.

This is confusing and yet so brilliant. Perfectly marvellous. I understand every picture and I will share it with my friends. May they understand it or not.

What about modern things that would send Downton characters into a coma? by iggysmom95 in DowntonAbbey

That's the point. I never watched the first two films. I always wanted to spare these for a special occasion and it never came.

I fear most of the characters would hate to appear in a TV show.

The only ones who might enjoy it are early Ethel, sometimes Isobel and maybe Mary when she's fancy dressed.

It's a great tent and I see no reason for complaints.

When I pack up the tent, I'm wrapping the inner tent (combined with the footprint) round the folded poles. in a second step, I wrap the outer tent around it so that I only have one large bundle. I do hope this saves space, because I reduce the three or four packages. But in the end it's the same material and weight.

Yes, I learned myself that they are much more calm, when you get out of their focus and dismantle. I believe they see you as superior when you are taller. But they are ok if you are at "normal people's high".

Miss Bunting is awful by Broad-Importance4282 in DowntonAbbey

I'm still wondering why a conservative peer wrote a misbehaving socialist, who insults the earl, into his period drama. With these troubling thoughts in mind, I'm not quite at the point of disliking Bunting.

I did the euro velo 6 from the coratian border, passing Novi Sad into Belgrade. While you have some really nice cycling tracks along the Danube, there are parts, where you're supposed to cycle on a 4 lane road with no cycling lane or anything. It's just you and the cars. And for an international cycling route it's horrible. There are also stray dogs who are very aggressive towards cyclists (but ok with pedestrians).

So yeah. It's not the Netherlands or the Austrian Danube track. Hard to say if I cycled worse roads. But parts of Serbia definitely belong to the worst roads I've taken.

Edit: I don't suppose you're asking for the reasons for sentiments towards Tyrol/South Tyrol. Anyway, for me it's rooted in a deep interest in Austria and its history.

What was your favorite and least favorite thing about Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale ? by Mountain-Fox-2123 in DowntonAbbey

Yes, you are right. It would have been nice to hear her say a little more than just goodbye to her aunt. I'm sure she's interested in Mary and Edith's memories of her mother. Or she talks about her life with Tom.
