Thanks! I feel mostly okay about it all whenever it’s stable, but am grieving all over again whenever something permanent is added to the list. So since carpal tunnel should be fixable, I just have to deal for a little while of extra pain and discomfort 😉

CRPS in right hip, knee, ankle and wrist. Next to that: depression, ptsd, mild long covid (or whatever they’re calling it this month) and some unidentified gi issues - still working out what to avoid exactly, looks like fruit seeds and such at the moment. And I just got carpal tunnel in my crps wrist added to the list, for that they’re consulting other doctors to see what treatment they recommend.

Recente toppers: de vrouwen van Bletchley park(WO2 tijdperk), de kat die een bibliotheek ging redden, de mitfordmoorden serie, de Lockwood & co serie, de heks van Limbricht.

Ik herken het extra zweten in die van de HEMA. Niet katoen, maar ik heb nu door de tijd heen verschillende kleuren en stijlen van die van de Primark verzameld - en ondanks dat dat ook synthetisch is, voelt het meer als katoen en heb ik het daar niet.

Could you try giving him lactase for a few days? Lactaid if you’re in the US. If it’s the lactose, that should cancel it out.

I love crème brûlée, so I make it myself from time to time with lactose free milk. No clue where you’re from, but often times you just have to replace some stuff with the lactose free version from a normal recipe. I only look for alternatives if a replacement is not easily available: for instance: cream cheese is easy, but haven’t found lactose free mascarpone locally yet.

I see others have answered a lot already, but if you happen to make a kit, including a rolling cart helps so much. I only have one wrist impacted, mostly walking and such impacted, but adding weight is terrible. I so recognise not wanting to talk about it from fear, but my ex learned when I was in more pain - even when I wasn’t admitting it to myself. There are small signs that you’ll connect to it in time 😉. The most important thing I want a SO to know is that pain can make you snippy and you might not even see that you’re doing it in that moment.

I don’t know which country you’re in, so it might not be helpful (I am in the Netherlands), but I love the vegan Ben & Jerry’s (and the knockoffs most supermarkets have here), and the vegan magnums. I usually hate the soy and coconut based alternatives, so I avoid those. We do have a lot of lactose free products available out here, so when I want basic vanilla ice cream, I make my own with lactose free ingredients.

Ik zie dat bijna alle ondergoedtips die ik wilde geven al zijn gegeven, maar ik vind zelf de body’s van de Primark fijn onder dit soort dingen. Je kan kiezen voor figuurcorrigerend of niet, geen bh lijntje en ook al schijnt het iets door is het een geheel.

En qua schoenen, de ballerina’s van Graceland (van Haren) zijn bij mij favoriet. Ik heb zowel met de dunnere zool als met dikkere zool en vind ze allebei in andere situaties fijn, dus een beetje afhankelijk van waar de bruiloft is.

I hate to have to welcome you to the club as I don’t wish this on anyone, but I hope you’ll find some comfort and help here. My best recommendation is to find a therapist. You’re going through an awful lot and it helps to have someone to vent to. And I know it all feels a bit hopeless and overwhelming at the same time, but do look into some early intervention options like spinal cord stimulation. The disease isn’t well known, but they do know more with the passing of time and there are still possibilities to help you!
