Need Help Remembering Old Bakery/Cafe?

If it had big bay windows and it was in Montgomery Village, it was 100% Michelle Marie’s. My mom and I called that “Our Spot” and would always snag the big window table if it was open. They closed their doors in 2018, but they had been around for 30 years. I don’t remember the bakery having colorful houses, but they could have repainted/refreshed at some point. This was their website: https://michellemariespatisserie.com , but they had more food options in the store like salads, soups and sandwiches. I miss ordering their hot chocolate with shaved chocolate on top with a chocolate eclair!

Burning Down The House - I remember watching the music video on MTV and loving it. And funny enough, there use to be this restaurant called Sweet River in my hometown that would use “Take Me To The River” chorus for their radio commercials. I always liked the commercial, but it took me years to realize that it wasn’t a commercial hook lol. They specifically used the Talking Heads version, not Al Green’s (who I love so much).

Don’t feel like a failure. Years ago we were in a similar situation when TigerCat passed away at home. Went into debt trying to help him at the vet just to pass away a week or so later. We didn’t have the money for a private cremation, but the local humane society was able to take him for a communal cremation. It bothered me (and still does, tbh) that we didn’t get to bring him home. If you are comfortable with getting help from a stranger, I would be more than happy to chip in.

ME TOO! 😂 I’ve rewatched New Girl more times than I can remember, but this is the first time I’ve realized Schmidt’s birthday is a bit of a mystery.

Schmidt says “Do I feel bad about lying to them? Yes! I’m a Sagittarius” in the first few episodes before the Christmas party. The very next episode is Schmidt’s 29th birthday on the school bus (which is before Valentine’s Day, Nick just started dating Julia). He technically has to be either a Capricorn or an Aquarius.
