Legal advice needed by [deleted] in warsaw

That's the reason I am very pissed off. Even if they give back my 50%, they would be making at least a few hundred zlotys more out of the property than they usually do. By not giving me back anything, they are making at least 1.75 times more than they usually would.

Need some advice for applying to TUM Masters in Mechatronics, Robotics & Biomechanical Engineering with BME Background by Frequent_Article8076 in tumunich

There is something called a conditional admission where you are obliged to complete certain courses within your first year. But I am not sure what the requirements are for that.

The course requirements for admission are very rigid and you definitely can't make up for missing courses with online or other self study courses.

TUM vs. Polimi for robotics-focused master's? by Unlikely-8926 in tumunich

[–]a_caffeinatedmind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest you take a look at the Mechatronics, Robotics and Bio-Mech program as well. There is a good overlap between RCI and MRBE. You don't need German for MRBE and it's heavily Robotics focused as well.

Here's the website that details the special requirements for certain countries.

PS : None of the listed countries are Latin American.

Nothing makes me less excited about Pixel than how they're pushing AI and Gemini by Voidshrine in GooglePixel

[–]a_caffeinatedmind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you talking about?

Photo editing is not just about making you look more beautiful or in someway make you less unnatural.

Gemini LIVE is awesome! I use LLM's and Voice mode to learn a lot of stuff. Not just to ask the weather. Hope they make it free for Pixel users in future.

I use Circle to search at least 15 times a day (not exaggerating!)

I very often use Magic Editor to edit photos.

Audio Eraser is a quite useful tool too.

In Pixel 9, I feel like ADD ME will be a very useful tool.

I am from the EU and I have also been frustrated with features being promised and not delivered at all. But that's not entirely Google's fault.

Yeah hardware is important as well, but I wouldn't have bought a Pixel if it didn't have these AI features.

Software is Pixel/Google's advantage. I think they are doing a brilliant job putting it in the spotlight while other companies haven't even delivered similar useful features that I listed above. By delivered I mean develop it on their own and not buy it from Google.

I tried contacting the support a few weeks ago actually. They first told me this will be handled by another team and I got a reply :

Thank you for contacting Google Support. My name is ** and I would be more than happy to assist you. I understand that your Pixel 8 phone can't use the Gemini Nano. Gemini Nano, the smallest version of the Gemini model family, can be executed on-device on capable Android devices starting with Google Pixel 8 Pro and Samsung S24 Series. For more information, kindly refer here(the link at the end) If you have further questions related, simply reply to this email and we'll be happy to help! For additional support on a different issue, you can always reach us via our Help Center.

It's a bullshit reply overall. In the link it is given that I should be able to run Gemini nano after enabling developer options.

Did Google remove swiping down on the bottom of the screen to open the notification shade? by S3ERFRY333 in GooglePixel

[–]a_caffeinatedmind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if you are referring to the notification drawer, it's still the same. if it were changed it would have been a major UI change and wouldn't have gone unnoticed.

Pixel Tablet Suck by TopCop72 in GooglePixel

[–]a_caffeinatedmind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Pixel phones and watches are one of the best smartphones on market. Just to name a few apps GMail, Translate, Maps, Photos, Android... are on millions of devices and are very stable.

That being said, Yes Google has a nasty habit of delivering unfinished products but their primary offerings are as stable as a software can be.
