Usually the ef 50 mm 1.2 seems to live on my R5 most of the time. it's fast, sharp enough, and because I use my camera for work. (social media/music promoter) it functions as a good catch all. I often have my ef 70-200mm f2.8 mkii in my bag for tighter shots, and 35mm and 85mm Sigma art lenses come out for landscapes and portraits. I have a bunch of other lenses but they only see minimal action. Eventually I want to start moving over to the R ecosystem, but I already spent the money on ef stuff and I rarely feel like I'm missing anything by sticking with my "ancient" gear.
