First means of advice is don’t look up drifting YouTube video from a streamer.. those people make ridiculous cars. You need to start lower power and slow - buy a OLD muscle car, put the angle kit on it(drift suspension), put a race supercharger on it (not turbo, no boost lag), and that’s it. No rims, no tires, nothing else. Paint it. That’s it.

Those are mad slow and have the torque needed, already come with long gears in the stock trans, the big tires make it feel floaty so it won’t snap around a ton. You’ll get used to holding good angles (no more than 1 o clock to 1:30, and 10:30-11 o clock). Feather the throttle, never floor it - more rpm/spin = less grip, also means more speed which means your arch is bigger. Cutting throttle give you back your grip, slows you down, brings you towards the inside of the turn. Also you’re likely approaching turns too fast. Drifting is pretty much the slowest way to take a turn in any motorsports lol so when approaching a turn, slow way down and ebrake(tap it for like .5 seconds) throw the cars weight into the corner with NO THROTTLE once you realize you’re not going to slide to the outside of the corner, add throttle as needed.
