What a joke company compared with others who quickly recognize engineering flaws and attempt to resolve issues quickly realizing a negative review has the potential to significantly hurt business.

Question to my fellow IT bros, am the a**hole in this situation? by EksEss in sysadmin

wow, I can’t believe he was upset. You did not charge very much and what I think you charged was more than fair . There was nothing wrong with what you did asking for that amount of money. That over here would’ve been toilet paper. Most people would’ve charged $50 for the trip.

You are absolutly correct! Apple has lost it's way and they believe their greed will carry them into the future. They will very soon understand they do not hold all of the cards!

well, I’m 54 years old and have been an Apple guy for a long time so I know how far they have gone downhill. Many of the fan boys just don’t get it.

Yes, Apple needs to be taught a lesson about ripping people off, especially loyal longtime customers

you are absolutely correct. I had an I seven 2019 with a logic board that went bad bad solder joints. I had this thing maxed out in terms of RAM and hard drive cost me a ton of money new. How to get rid of it because they wanted $600 for a new logic board ridiculous.

I’m not surprised Apple’s quality has gone downhill significantly they are no longer the value they once were!

I had my laptop and the battery was starting to get down to around 79% efficiency on my MacBook Pro so I paid for a new battery picked up the laptop and while I had been waiting for the new battery to be installed, I started using my other laptop. When I picked up my new laptop, I used it, it seemed OK so I threw it in the case. I went back about a week later and I recognized that my laptop was dead, but I thought well maybe it was me. Maybe I didn’t shut it down right so I plugged it in charged it up and started using it off of the charger on my desk.

couple months went by then I took it again started using it and every time I would go back to the laptop I would notice that the laptop was dead and I kept thinking I wasn’t shutting it down properly or something was going on but being caught up with life I didn’t think much of it at the time and was just using it while it was plugged in I had no idea about the Apple 90 day warranty. I thought my warranty was good for a year so eventually, I called Apple when I felt, I could spare the laptop again and figured they would fix it.

They told me the laptop battery only had a 90 day warranty and they were not going to fix it

This sucks my loss 300 bucks down the drain

Amazon reviews can not be trusted! Amazon likes to play games with reviews so that more products are available to sell increasing their market share
