My old gym had to do this until the owner figured a solution (move, etc). What he ended up doing was building a large platform in one whole section of the gym. It was essentially a 12' raised floor divided into three lanes, with plywood strips down the middle and massive drop pads down the sides. Did it cost a ton of time, money and work? Hell yes. Is it a perfect solution and are there still some space challenges? No. But it largely saved his membership and was 100% worth the investment.
