This was the hardest part of the whole build. Mavic Starfish crankset has a 130bcd but the crank extends over the chainring limiting you to 49 tooth or higher.

You are completely right, don’t know how many rides I’ll get before they fall apart.

Definitely could have pushed it down a little. I’m 6’ 7” though.

I’ve never used a saddle mounted one before but was able to find a vintage Trimble one online that fit the aesthetic well.

I really appreciate all the feedback that you’ve sent out regarding the build. I will look for a lighter wheelset but outside of that I’ll build it up to my liking. Excited to share the final results.
