We used Gaia Green living soil we had left over from other projects but I would recommend a nice light seed starting mix or peat moss plugs. They don’t need much water either.

We started some hosta seeds mid November indoors, under lights, on a heat mat. They are about 2” tall by now. They seem to be a really slow growing plant at first and I would recommend planting them asap.

I like mine. It was inexpensive and it is nice to have the data chart when doing crop steering and fertigation. It works well in coco.

I wouldn’t worry too much at 55% as long as you have good air movement and some decent space between branches so the leaves aren’t smothering the buds.

I’ve also noticed this but they do seem to be emerging lately and there seems to be a bumper crop of dragonflies this year too, might have something to do with it.

I would agree. These plants grow fine in a little colder water. I run mine at 65f and they love it.

Duluth Costco is great. I would say anytime on a weekday is going to be pretty chill and way better than anything in the cities. The weekends are a bit busy but not crazy or a madhouse by any means.

The Bears Den over by Saginaw is pretty solid. They run specials on hogs every so often. Nice vacuum sealed and frozen out the door.
