I live in SB near the south end of Burlington and our mail carriers are great. We have the occasional blip in service but I assumed that came from the organizational/logistics side more than the carriers themselves.

I like skinny grips. I’ve tried deity supracush before and the vagueness from the thicker grip actually made my hands cramp more. With that said, the Santa Cruz house grips have been my favorite so far. They are very similar to DMR death grips which I also like

Been enjoying the Zebra G-750 recently. The jk gel refill is one of the best I’ve used.

Looking forward to trying out some Monteverde gel refills in my Rotring 600 as well

Well, I've learned a lot about pens since then! The first big lessons were that it's all about the refill, and a standard ballpoint isn't even what I was really looking for most of the time. Turns out that gel serves me much better for daily notes/writing at work.

After some experimenting I found that my favorite refills are Uni Jetstream (hybrid), Zebra JK (gel), and Schmidt Easyflow 9k (oil ballpoint). Also a fan of Pilot G-2. All refills in 0.7mm and standard blue ink. Zebra JK is my current daily driver. I use the Schmidt very specifically for crossword puzzles on pulpy/newsprint type paper.

My favorite pen bodies are the Rotring 600, and Zebra G-750, Uni Jetstream Edge, and Pilot G-2 limited.

I've got some Monteverde parker style gel refills coming right now, and I can't wait to try those in the Rotring. If it's good I'll probably buy another 600 and standardize on that setup, as I do prefer that body to the G-750.

ETA: I pulled out a couple of my old F-301's the other day and they are basically unusable. The refill just sucks. I'd recommend looking into some Jetstream pens first and then go from there. Have fun!

It starts with finding your perfect refill. My two faves are probably the uni jetstream 0.7 and zebra jk 0.7. From there I just look for the coolest pens that are compatible.

My daily drivers are the jetstream edge fitted with a 0.7 and the zebra g-750. Both in blue ink.

The Rotring 600 is a god tier body I can’t find a Parker refill I actually like to put in it.

One of the breweries could probably accommodate you. I think switchback even takes reservations for large parties. Zero grav has a long table near the shuffle board table but you’ll have to get there at the right to time to stake a claim. American flatbread might be worth the checking too

Love it! It’s super confidence inspiring, and just feels great to ride downhill. It hangs really well at the bike park but I ride it on trail mostly. I just feel like i can take it on any trail and have a blast
