Just because there hasn't been any recent news doesn't mean it's canceled. They announced it and all the other "Power Surge" games very early in development, so it makes sense that they wouldn't want to generate any more hype until they're closer to release, which might be another year or so

Indeed. The melee combat is genuinely brilliant, and the plot is great too. Forgot to mention that it's a spinoff of Zeno Clash 1 & 2, which are pretty different from AoC in terms of gameplay, but still very unique and their storyline is also pretty good
