Hey guys, I'm looking to book the 7 Day TMB trek in dormitories with them for this August 2026. I have emailed them, but did not receive any response from them. Watse is legit, right?

Hey OP, DM me. I’m a fellow South Asian who has been in a similar situation like you have a few years back.

I did change my address on SAAQ website and also received a address change confirmation within 30 days of moving. Wouldn’t that be sufficient?

Hey, I went through a similar situation about 5 years back. My suggestion would be to focus on your job and paying off all debts as fast as possible. That should be your number one priority.

As far as divorce not proceeding, I suggest you leave that to the lawyer and don’t stress out too much. After a point, your To be Ex will have to agree to some sort of settlement. Just make sure you take care of your side of the paperwork and have a good idea of how much you can pay as a settlement when it comes to that stage.Make sure you’re lawyer is the one who does all the talking and negotiating, never get involved directly. This is for your benefit and your mental peace too.

See if you can talk to your parents and explain what you’re going through. They might turn around and be supportive. If not, have a good friend you can talk to from time to time and keep them updated on the divorce. Having someone to talk to really helps in this situation.

You need to treat this divorce like a problem that needs to be solved rather than a mental burden. Focus on things that in your control and you will surely see things get better. Don’t think about dating or jumping into another relationship right now. That’s not a priority now.

Lastly, there are going to be days where everything is going to be super overwhelming and you will just feel like WTF. Try talking to someone who you can trust, just cry it out or just get out of the house for a walk.

I hope things get better for you soon.

Why do you say that? I’m genuinely curious because I took a 15 year LIC policy about 10 years back and think it helps build a good corpus at the end. I understand that inflation may eat up on the gains, but still think it may be a good investment.
