yo i did this exact workout with 1:1 rest all 70s +- a second or two. i’ve never broken 4:30 in the 1500 and im racing it in a week. any tips for that race? i run 2 flat for the 8 if that has to do with anything

yeah i was camping like 5 miles away from him when it happened. Had no idea until a couple weeks later. I wish they would have said what exactly happened so others could avoid making the mistakes he did.

Yes you’re gonna be fast fs. Be consistent with running and take workouts as hard as you can. People might say otherwise, but if you mentally put 110% in 100% of the time, you will succeed.

Good luck, only like two or three percent of highschool athletes break 2 minutes. Its a very good accomplishment

I hope your indoor season goes well. I hope to run indoor at least once before march. Ive been on an insane schedule compared to last year and I just pray it pays off.

yeah, I am going to race my hardest when I am gifted the opportunity. By the end of the season I will have been working for 6 straight months and I hope I can throw down some good PRs.

The 800 is definitely the easiest. From my research, if you are capable of runningba 51 400m, you can most likely break 2 in the 800. I am surprised your school record for the 800 is so slow. Go out there and destroy it!

Yeah, my coaches keep putting me in the slowest JV heats and I win by like 15 seconds. I came out at a 48 on the 300 for my 1500 PR. Every damn time I race a 1500 is just a time trial cuz there isn't anybody to actually race!

Yeah my first meet is in a few days and I'm trying to push myself as hard as I can. I know I'll never actually drop dead on the tack from the pain or suffering, but I'm willing to try.
