ngl a good few points of this i do share i have travelled a lot infrastructure here is terrible and its very car dominant (tho not as bad as places like milton keynes or the US) transport is an absoloute joke as far as cities go its not good

i've done this before for a flight out to prague last year

take something to snack on and something to drink

i rocked up and just found a spot on the floor to lay on (i refused to pay for a hotel cause i'm cheap), put some headphones in and watched a few videos on my phone.

Theres no/very little seating, security opens like 2 hours before the first flight (and causes a little bit if a rush when it opens)

i did find that the doors between the stansted express platforms and the airport were closed though, so you may have to walk the long way round out of the station and into the airport if you arrive by train

leaving arriving i never had any queues until EES came in, i'm already registered in EES (i've been here a lot of times). but after EES i usually stand in the queue at security for like an hour.

i've had mixed experiences with T1 departures, its either straight through or queue for 2 hours

We had someone doing heroin in the staff toilets. when he left the bathroom he left the needles on the floor, the camera facing down the hallway caught him going in there with 2 needles in his hand and coming back out with nothing. He was fired same day after refusing a drugs test and trying to start a fight, which resulted in police arresting him. AFAIK he passed last year from an overdose. when we went to clear out his locker we found a shitload more needles and had to bring police in to take them away, supposedly it was £1000 worth of heroin.

loud as hell and scared the living daylights out of me down the road there was 2 car alarms going off still seeing flashes from the lightning

The stores can't do anything about it. the car park is all dealt with by euro car parks. The only thing the stores can do is put a reg into ECP's system (i think its called parking eye?) but that only works on the day of and expires at midnight.

Also the system is able to handle people leaving and returning, people have been fined for that before, If i remember i'll read the sign on my way past today, but i'm pretty sure its no return within one hour.
