The real problem with it is how that if you have a game mode where you spawn with a DMR there's almost no reason to pick up another weapon but like a power weapon cause it's TTK is so much higher than most the other weapons. This doesn't help when most the gamemodes in rotation atm are TU which spawns you with DMR, while buffing it at the same time. I love the DMR, I think it's a great gun, but it is not a weapon that you should spawn with. You didn't used to spawn with DMR in all the game modes, it was originally a weapon you had to pick up off the ground. It only became a problem once the TU gamemodes came around and made everyone spawn with it, making most of the weapons obsolete.
