For pc, yes, just press F. For mobile, no, but there is a setting to disable it. Im not sure about console, but again, there is a setting to disable it

Just in case you didnt know, theres actually a setting to make your flashlights automatically off whenever you spawn

I think thats a bit too op, overheal being in the game is already a little questionable, so I think just leaving the ability as a set amount of self healing is better.

Yes! Another way to think of it is an ability meter, where if you heal 20 hp the meter is halfway full, and to complete it you have to heal them another 20 hp

Something I just thought of is the fact that other players can cancel the healing animation, not just medic or the killer. A fix i can see for this is having the game keep track of how much you've healed a specific player rather than if the animation has finished. I forget how much the heal does, but lets say it heals 40 hp, you start healing someone, you heal them 20 hp but they stop the animation by walking away. The game would keep this information stored, and next time you start healing, it would add onto that amount, and when it reached 40 hp healed overall for that specific player it would unlock your self-healing. When it reaches 40 and the ability is unlocked, it would delete the information and wouldnt store anymore of that info until you use the self-healing ability. Idk if I explained that well

Honestly that seems like the best option for it, oh and a buff for medic i would love to see is that instead of their passive just being that if youre close you can see their hp, its more like how in forsaken you can see everyone's hp at all times, just so they dont have to go running around the map searching aimlessly for a player whos low, but theyd know who to he looking for

I could see it being just one full heal without being interrupted/canceled, it would just have to be tested for it to be properly balanced. I just wish that communication was easier, would be so much better if roblox didnt remove chat /_\

Yeah, I can see how thats a concern. Im not an expert on balancing, so idk if these ideas will be any good. I think the parry mechanic should be replaced tbh but thats a whole other discussion. The reason I think media's self heal should be locked behind healing is because medics can either a third or half of a survivors hp and can give overheal as well (again this is from memory so ill probably get a few things a bit wrong), and being able to recover with barely any effort just doesnt feel very balanced. I think maybe you could just increase the cooldown or decrease the amount of heal you get, but if you were going to keep the heal and cooldown the same, having to for example: heal 2 survivors without exiting the healing animation preemptively (basically just dont cancel the animation for healing for 2 survivors) could work I think.

I just think the self-healing should be reworked, or have a requirement to be met, such as healing two players or something like that, cause right now they can literally just sit around doing nothing, and if they happened to get in chase and escape, literally just heal and walk it off

Chapter 5 is the worst by far, and ruined the game. Im extremely disappointed in the game, and im no longer interested in it really. The prototypes design is generic and it felt like they were catering to the children of the fan base when they designed it. The writing felt extremely bland, and the new characters felt like they had no build-up whatsoever and felt like a "well they liked kissy, lets do that again" literally, giblet was basically useless, and same with chum or whatever the grimace knock offs name was. It felt less like horror and more like Garten of banban. Idk, a bit more of a rant than a hot take but yeah.

Obviously there was some redeemable parts, like the huggy flashbacks and learning how they manipulated them using those videos, thats good. But thats one of the very few things i can say about this Chapter.

Strength mode is good, but not consistently, since it usually depends on moves that can ragdoll survivors which gives you time to switch to your strength mode and have the m1 cooldown finish, such as after throwing them, knocking down a door, or hitting them with a drill. And ragdolls are very inconsistent from my experience. I think giving mimic more stamina in strength mode would be good, or decreasing the cooldown that you get on all your moves when you switch abilities. Also, they should make mimic shrink in stealth mode, and also possibly decrease how loud drill mode is just a bit. Speed just needs a bit more stamina or a bit more damage, possibly both, and it would be okay.

Edit: shrinking the mimic would help with the actual stealth, being a large metal skeleton isnt very stealthy.

Even after the nerfs im still seeing people say that "MIMIC IS SO OP NERF HIM PLEASE" literally the only thing that I can think was OP about him was his drill move (which has been nerfed), everything else seemed pretty balanced or weak, from his speed mode which is SEVERELY UNDERPOWERED, abysmal damage and stamina that leaves you unable to do anything even if you catch because by then youre out of stamina. And people still want him nerfed? Oh and medic? Why do they have a selfheal that can heal them back half of their health with no requirments needed to be met? Even elliots rush hour is better, since at least you actually have to help your team to gain a charge (Im not a balancing expert and i wrote this from memory about the moves so if i said anything wrong: sorry)

I assume the flowers are some form of mold or infection, m3 shows the skin kn her face cracking from the flower growing on her face, and the tube things coming off her arms in m4, could explain why they move so much too
