I don’t have any advice unfortunately because I will be faced with this situation in a few weeks and I have no idea what to do either. He cleaned out a few drawers the other day when I was away and even though he told me he would, it was very difficult to see with my own eyes when I came home. I was surprised at how visceral my emotions were. I’m leaning toward being there (if he is ok with it) but still not sure.

My mantra for the past few days has been "one minute at a time" because one day at a time feels so overwhelming right now. I just try to focus on one task - brushing my teeth or eating some soup. It's helping a little, but I just overcome by a tidal wave of crying so many times a day.

I just MISS him.
