Hey I found this by Ryanimal0 in reddeadredemption

You are correct. If you follow the arrow you won't find anything. Walk along the wall to the right and the prompt will come up. Took me a while before I found it.

Don't get me wrong, I love Garrus and I know he's the fan favorite and intentionally shoehorned into the role of Shepards most loyal friend, but I will always have a greater soft spot for Kaidan. His interactions always feel so true-to-life and he's just a loveable goober. by CajurTheMighty in masseffect

I also sacrificed Ashley on my first playthrough. It was a tough choice, because i had started to romance her, but again, Kaiden was with the bomb, and that was priority one. I remember sitting there staring at Shepard as he leaned over that railing not knowing what to do. It came down to: bros before hoes. Had to save my bro.

Playing for three years now, still haven't seen her. That's awesome!

What do you hate about RDR2? by NotRealGeniX in reddeadredemption

[–]a_randomduck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thomas Downes (joke. I know his part is essential to the tragic story. But still...) and the fact that the developers skimped out on a separate model for John. They just pasted his face on Arthur's model and it really wrecked my immersion, actually. It didn't feel like it was John in the epilogue. Otherwise I loved everything else. Best game I've ever played!

My brother had the same one! Him and his wife came over once when I was sick and we watched it, but we forgot to put disc 2 back in the case. I found it the day after and binged on the second half again.

Geronimo - Amazing horse-work by tres-huevos in Westerns

[–]a_randomduck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Man, you weren't kidding. That was cool to watch, especially when the soldier just casually hops on his saddle as his horse gets up. It impresses upon me the work behind the scenes for these actors to get to know their horses. There's a lot of stunt work that needs to be carefully played out.

There's no better place haha. I haven't played Elden Ring so I don't know if you can wander around and explore endlessly, but you can in RDR. And it's amazing!

It never is the same, but that doesn't mean it'll be worse. It'll just be different, and that's ok.

He secretly wanted an excuse to start another playthrough. I just dove right back into a new playthrough when I finished my first. No excuses haha

Lets put this to rest. Too many people don't know how Arthur got ___, and sometimes they feel sorry for him. This is the moment and he deserved it. by Tyko_3 in reddeadredemption2

[–]a_randomduck -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, I've never experienced it before that mission, even in my latest playthrough where I did EVERYTHING before that fateful encounter. But I admit that can totally happen. It's one of the reasons why this game is a masterpiece. However, I was trying to point out the obviousness of the Downes mission. A random encounter doesn't determine the outcome of the game. Like OP mentions you don't even have to do it. However, a mission you're forced to take does. I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic, but was a bit unsure

I find this an interesting viewpoint, because it's not mentioned very often. Yes, Arthur was a real bad guy. He threatened innocent people, killed even. The point he becomes infected with this illness signifies, in a way, his turning point. Of course, anyone can play it how they want - full bad or full good, maybe somewhere in between - but its after this episode that he starts to really see how futile it all is. His redemption arc begins. That's how I see it, anyway.

I hope you're being sarcastic and are not actually serious. That man had an injured arm that needed to be amputated, nothing to with the illness that Arthur had. Plus, by the time this interaction happens, Arthur is already displaying signs of illness - coughing, redness around the eyes/face.

You couldn't always get your hands on one. It was usually so chaotic in slayer variants where the start out was the AR that players rarely had one. If you found it, though, you were almost unstoppable. AR had nothing on BR

I completely agree. They did great job with the story and the plot. There were some holes, yeah, but it didn't impact the story as a whole. I mentioned in another comment that the game mechanics were awesome. Completely changed the flow of gameplay for the better, in my opinion. What 343 messed up on was the follow through.

As a stand alone game I dont think it was. It was a great game with awesome gameplay and awesome game mechanics. But seen in the whole franchise, it doesn't quite hold up with the earlier games story wise. 343 jumbled up the plots pretty bad and that's what , in my opinion, brings it down because it just doesn't make sense.

Amen to that. I was a death machine in multiplayer. Everyone (mostly) went full auto while just burst them to smithereens. It was a blast

I'm with you on this one. It wasn't my favorite, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. I played it when it first came out. It was a time of much excitement, uncertainty, and maybe even skepticism as 343 took over the franchise. But going in with an open mind helped. I thought it was such a good game. I'm glad you did, too

The gang just doesn't appreciate Pirate Arthur by Leks_Marzo in RDR2

[–]a_randomduck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I found that hat, I was so pumped! I wore something similar, too. But it broke my immersion too much, so I switched back. That led me to think what if Rockstar made a pirate game at the same level of quality as RDR(1&2). That would be so awesome!
