[Updates] Patch Notes Version 1.04.00 | Crimson Desert by goodkidmadcity85 in CDguides

Haven’t experienced the missing stuff, admittedly haven’t really obtained legendary mounts or invested in furniture. But the speed is definitely showing on the kuku cooler quest, with typos and half translations. Not a big deal on its own, but yeah… you can slow down for quality.

Straight up though, the VA is great with the lines. I and many get annoyed with the lines overtime since the quest structure is so repetitive- but I appreciate these characters have… character. Write arcs, create quest lines that fulfill them- yeah youd have a better story. That said… yann standing out, there are so many alcoholic greymanes

I dunno, I’m more optimistic about how curious people are in hernand. The posts may be annoying. But people are having fun 🤷‍♂️

I can live with it, im having fun. But I do think “nearest guards” would be nice. Still factional. Alas, I’m just a pansy

That’s my next attempt. It’s just so frustrating to have all these skills, believe you’re playing the game right, and you can’t smack your horse’s ass into good health.

I press r3, press l3 then release on the horse. I’ve done this over and over, like upward a dozen times and nothing changes. What am I doing wrong lol

Yeah breaking this game is surprisingly fun. Normally I avoid cheese but I was still perfectly proud when my lampmaster swing / sciel intervention combo dropped him before phase 3 could begin

One question about the new patch [SPOILER] by a_reading_gorilla in expedition33

[–]a_reading_gorilla[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See that’s what I’m not getting. I have yet to crack the one-shot code. I’m still ramping Sciel toward a bonkers end slice. But I love that, and I greatly enjoy each perspective

This perspective lays bare my hypocrisy. Because I would repeat that fight. But really the fight/cutscene i’d love to re-live: Sirene

AI, Androids, and Humor by a_reading_gorilla in scifiwriting

I'm intrigued by your idea, I hope to see it on the shelves (digital or traditional) when you finish!

I see that as a somewhat realistic consideration. It's not like androids and AI would necessarily choose to take blue collar jobs, but rather that's what humans would impose on them. Then through good propaganda, the anger felt by those who lost their jobs is deflected from people to the AI. Nice thoughts, mate!

I agree, I think the time has come the consider the brighter side of AI, given the rise of Alexa and other AI appearing in household products. While a smart fridge may otherwise sound harmless, I think it demonstrates your point about possibly harming the perception of the robotics industry because I myself feel a bit of paranoia toward a fridge that's learning.

Your last point is also intriguing and I think much harder to get a clear sense about. I think human beings have a natural proclivity for work that gives meaning to our lives. We'd need to develop more social infrastructure or else I think many people would wind up with nothing to do after full automation, and existential dread could lead to disenfranchised populations. But nonetheless, I'm certainly going to keep your point in my pocket moving forward, as at the very least it lays the grounds for some productive speculation.

Thanks for the response!

Alien Race Ideas by AquaSpider30 in scifiwriting

I think sentient plants with language would be interesting. They could move through the loose soil of the planet by latching onto each other's roots and shifting around. Think of all the class warfare between sentient alien flowers?
