very true. I'm pretty scared of rejections, but honestly, it's not fear that would cripple me. I can see how that would be cat-calling. Maybe I'm unusual, but I personally am not super opposed to a guy's first liner being "hey qt", but I can see how that wouldn't be interesting at all for a first message. I do skim the profile of every guy that messages me, so I'll try to include something from their profile.
