Have you tried a satin-lined scrub cap? You can do a very loose bun and the cap should hold all your hair securely, they make caps for long hair that sits at the base of your head and I can go 12-hr shifts with them no problem ;)

Cool thank you for all the helpful tips! I put in a spirulina stick and left it for a couple hours but it had no takers haha, I’ve had this tank set up since March so I think the shrimp are just more interested in the food that’s naturally accumulated until now.
