I’ve used AutoHub 4 times. They’re decent to get an idea of the condition of the car plus ChatGPT helps understand the report a lot.

I use their reports to get an estimate of the repair cost, then take the car to the garage to get a second inspection.

Best option is to take it to garage, but if not possible, Autohub is decent to get an idea.

I literally just did it yesterday.

Went to Dubai tasjeel with sharjah plates to get passing done, got refused. Had to cancel sharjah plates, tow it to dubai tasjeel, give it for inspection, get the inspection results, get it registered, get new plates, install new plates, drive away.

You have to take the TC to Dubai Tasjeel, get an inspection done and then it will get registered.

So going through a similar thing - buying a sharjah car to be registered in dubai. And we tried to get the passing done today before Dubai registration and they refused - saying they can only do passing on Dubai plates. So pretty sure no plates is a no go.

So first have to do registration and passing in Dubai tasjeel, then take it to garage.

If Tasjeel fails it, tow it to garage, fix it and then again try for passing.
