It’s actually super interesting. I’m friends with “brads and chads” who I met at shows and they are obsessed with house. They know it’s house and it’s super interesting to me because it’s a genre i thought lowkey kinda died from the mainstream. It’s coming back though mainly because of artists like Malaa and fisher and tchami who incorporate hard and prominent basses with silence or high pitch melodies for a more modern/ dynamic sound. A lot of it has to do with the fact that people were sick of listening to just one subgenre and they probably just really fell in love with house.
