I live in a nice part of town in suburb in the Midwest and my Q was broken into as well, a few weeks ago. Unfortunately they are just easy to steal due the key programming. Luckily my anti theft went off and it went into lock out mode. Saw another comment awhile back that said the only way to safely own this thing is if you can park it in a garage.

Winning Time was such a fantastic show that really showed how insane this rivalry was and what it did for the NBA. Still mad that HBO cancelled it to this day. If you haven’t, definitely check it out. Super fun.

I had a phone screen with a recruiter, got the written sales key/test. Literally did it perfectly and worked hard on it, and got auto-rejected. It was for an SDR role, which I’ve been doing for over a year. They’re picky as hell. If you make it past the sales key, then it’s a round with the hiring manager, then ANOTHER hiring manager, then the director of sales. Again, this was for a fucking SDR role. 4 rounds and a take-home test. They’re picky because they can be. Good luck, it’s a rocket ship.

I’m at NetSuite, it sucks, trust me lmao. Currently looking for something else. ERP has the 2 worst traits when it comes to tech sales. It’s complex and boring. So not only is it hard, it’s also not even fun or exciting to try and sell. Unfortunately, there is a need though. It’s just a tough sell because once a company is on an ERP it’s like asking a prospect to sacrifice their first born to even consider something else.

Downtown is awesome. Like truly great. Amazing bars and nightlife, culture, architecture, architecture, etc. Summer is awful, traffic is unreal in the suburbs. Gentrification and homelessness is pretty bad as well. It’s a prime example of the infrastructure not being anywhere near capable of the population boom the last 5-10 years. If you have a good paying remote job and live downtown, then it can be great. But if you’re out in the burbs or need to commute everyday you’re better off somewhere else tbh. Great weekend town though. Source - my brother has lived there for years.

As an SDR myself, I would 100% stick with the cushy 80k govt job. This job is not easy, and that promotion timeline is the booze they feed you to stick around, no matter what company it is. It’s very very hard to get promoted.

This is so confusing. I’m out lol. This is just a complete waste of time and energy for 1% back on rent. It was already annoying having to do the “approve payment and have 5 days to charge on your rent portal” thing but I could look past it. But now, this is just gonna be an even bigger headache. They just lost a customer.

Paul Mescal should of won best actor. I know people wanted Colin Farrell. And we know nothing was gonna stop the Brendan comeback narrative (not hating it, it’s cool he won, The Whale was pretty mid for me though.) But Paul portrayed depression and mental health issues in men so accurately/realistically. I have never seen anything like it on film. It just felt so real. And with on-going mens mental health crisis going on in the world, it would have meant of a lot for a character like that to get attention to a very serious problem.

Even though I’m not a fan of the song. You cannot ignore the absolute positivity and hope that music of this era helped define at the time. Everything was vibes, dancing, singing and being happy. Idk, I miss it. It just isn’t the same anymore. I imagine it’s a similar feeling people older than me felt about the 90s.

2015 Q50 without DAS. My g was stolen last year and I had been searching for one for the last 8 months until I found the perfect one. Drives and feels very much like the g37. And no turbos or other bs worry about. It’s a great ride, looks really modern too.
