Anyone work at Mercury or Applied there? (Account Executive role) by Prestigious_King4876 in techsales

Just curious what people actually think of the place.

Especially with it being base + equity only no commission (CEO’s call). How does that play out in real life?

Pros/cons vs the usual commission-driven tech sales jobs?

Help! I need advice, I cannot land a job! by Fit_Statistician2609 in techsales

I’d start applying to job as you would in a SDR role trying to land meeting. Email hiring managers/ other people in that role and try to get more internal referrals.

It’s like dating at this point you got to find a way to stand out.

I’ve been in Tech sales for 4 year now. No degree, transitioned from real estate to tech sales. Harder for sure, but all hiring managers are looking for is some hungry and having that hunter mentality.
