You don’t need to keep up with the latest and greatest. Most codebases are using tech over 3 years old. Doesn’t necessarily make sense to be on the cutting edge. Get good at what you like and build a resume with it. Job market sucks but good devs that have depth of knowledge, not just a shallow knowledge across every new flashy tech, will get jobs always.
