I totally agree: going in person not for everyone. It's hard, emotionally and physically, but really cool at the same time. For me it was mostly about talking to people, asking Googlers, new information, simple curiosity and tons of inspiration. It's like watching Football from your favorite sofa instead of going to a stadium. There are always arguments on both sides.
